Gentle, pregnancy-appropriate postures, breathwork, vocal toning (beautiful sounds produced to aid in labor and delivery) and meditation are learned to cultivate flexibility, calm, and confidence in preparation for childbirth and motherhood, with modifications for every stage of pregnancy. No yoga experience is necessary, although it is advisable to speak with your physician before beginning any new exercise program during your pregnancy.

Introductory Yoga
Learn how yoga can tone your body, increase your flexibility and relieve stress. This class provides an introduction to the yoga postures, foundational alignments, breathing and relaxation techniques. Develop enhanced self-awareness in a safe environment.

Ashtanga Yoga
Originally started in Mysore, India by it's Guru, Shri K. Pattabhi Jois, this unique lineage of yoga links breath and movement through a process known as vinyasa. The breathing technique used in this style of yoga, also known as ujjayi, is responsible for producing heat, which in turn, produces sweat, purifying and cleansing the body. In this class we will be focusing on the breath and alignement in the postures (asanas) taking modifications if needed. Although this class utilizes more cardio then other styles of yoga, it is great for begginners and regular practioners alike. The practioner choses how hard they would like to work.

Gentle Yoga
A fun and accessible approach to helping students build strength, flexibility, and balance. Every session includes the practice of classic Hatha yoga postures and pranayama breath techniques with a final period of wonderful, deep relaxation. Rather than being “just one more thing I gotta do today,” come and enjoy yoga’s transformative power. Do yoga today for better quality of life tomorrow! Appropriate for beginning to intermediate students.
