Graduating Yoga Teachers

The Yoga Center in Melbourne, FL has just graduated its first class of 200hr. certified Yoga Teachers. Under the direction of Linda M. Morse, E-RYT, 500, and owner of the Yoga Center, they have successfully completed those requirements to qualify for this prestigious degree. The Yoga Center is a Registered School with the Yoga Alliance, the national governing board for the certification and accreditation of yoga professionals. The Yoga Center is proud to present the degree of Certified Yoga Teacher to Gloria Bella of Palm Bay, Dee Coons of Melbourne, Marilyn Hallock of Indian Harbor Beach, Judy Mathys of Melbourne, and Wooster, Ohio, and to Norma Montoya of Vero Beach, FL. This 200 hr. program is a nine session, every other weekend program, running on FR evenings, and all day SA and SU. The program covers an in depth experience of yoga, training the teacher in the fundamental principles of yoga, techniques, philosophy and history, teaching methodology, anatomy and physiology, teaching practicum, ethics, as well as asanas (postures), pranayama (breath techniques), and meditation. Firmly based within the Kripalu tradition of yoga, Ms. Morse adds her own approach with BEAM Yoga (TM), which is based on the Principles of Breath, Energy, Alignment and Movement.
